About WorkersCalc

WorkersCalc is an independent website that turns UK and US employment law into simple calculators. Most guidance on new employment rules is written as long articles. We think people deserve a direct answer for their own dates and pay.

How we keep the calculators accurate

• Every calculation follows the wording of the legislation, and each page links to the sections it relies on.
• Annual limits, such as the cap on a week's pay, are checked each April when the new figures take effect.
• Each page shows the date its figures were last checked.

What we are not

We are not a law firm and we are not connected to GOV.UK, Acas, the US Department of Labor or any government body. The calculators give general guidance only. For advice on your own situation, contact Acas or Citizens Advice in the UK, your state labor department in the US, or an employment lawyer.
